About the Sustainability Specialist

The Sustainability Specialist will work closely with the company’s Development Department and is responsible for fulfilling national and international labor and sustainability regulations regarding textile manufacturing. The work supports the company’s goal to become net zero by 2030.

Duties and Responsibilities

– Work closely with the Development Department and the Sustainability Department at Taiwan HQ to support the requirements of clients and local regulations.

– Understand and support the implementation of labor safety and related training on-site.

– Evaluate and foster labor safety and health operation procedures, regulations, and documentation.

– Support and complete factory audits such as SLCP/IEM/IEEM/HIGG/RCS, etc.

– Communicate with clients and the government regarding social and environmental topics.

– Support traceability programs to track and record material usage.

Required Qualifications

– Superior English written and oral communication skills

– Detail-oriented with documents and implementations of actions

– Strong collaborative interpersonal style with a high level of emotional intelligence

– Believes in the value of sustainability and the importance of a circular fashion industry

– Willingness to learn and adapt, able to understand new information quickly

– Ability to demonstrate grace under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

– Understand the textile supply chain or have experience in the fashion industry

– Able to collect and interpret data to seek and execute solutions

– Knowledge of local and global sustainability trends in fashion, law, and energy
